Our Origins
Hikari Travel Agency (HTA) was established in 2020 out of our passion for two things, Travel and Japan.
We understand the specific challenges that foreigners experience during the planning and execution of a trip to Japan because we have experienced it first-hand!
Hikari Travel Agency's knowledge and experience of planning Japan oriented trips and vacations comes from the first hand experiences of being a foreigner and living, working and vacationing in Japan for extended periods of time!

Our Name
“Hikari” is the Japanese word for “light”.
It is pronounced as “Hi-Ka-Ri” in Japanese and is written as “光” (the kanji form)
or “ひかり” (the hiragana form).
